The proprietor Alan Clarke is proud of the studio's achievements. Currently, his students hold several titles; Junior All-Ireland Ballroom and Latin, plus Juvenile All-Ireland Latin Champions. The studio was founded by his parents Cecil and Eileen, and has seen many dance crazes come and go. In the '60s, the likes of Van Morrison, Rory Gallagher and Gary Moore played there. Latin American dancing arrived in the '70s, followed by Saturday Night Fever, Grease and more recently, salsa dance moves. Alan is also involved in teaching Argentine tango, the original style that evolved in South American a hundred years ago.
